When I was 22, I went on a life changing road trip out to the American West. While in Colorado, I had stopped in the Vail/Beaver Creek area. I walked into a beautiful European and American 1930’s vintage poster store. The posters were painted onto canvas. I thought I should give it a shot with my own twist and style.
After my visit, I was inspired to try my hand at creating concert style posters that reflect my drawing and design skills. Starting out as sketches, these pieces quickly manifested into semi-refined idea creators.
Operating in the gray area between fine art and design, these posters illustrate my love of typography and the ability to seek out ways to manipulate it.
